The Brief:

Carl was starting up a new company called The Fit Farm – the business was all about Corporate fitness and Personal Training – bringing the gym to your desk!

The Work:

Firstly we sat down and talked about his business, what it was all about and what he wanted it to do. We came up with a name which allowed us to purchase the domain name www.fitfarm.co.uk. Then set up a hosting account and emails for him.

Next came the logo, we sent Carl many variations of logos that he gave his thoughts too. Using his comments we were able to swiftly come up with a final logo design.

In fact we designed him two logos!

Then we created the artwork using those logos so he could get t-shirts printed, this is where the two logos came into effect as one was smaller and sharper than the other, as you can see by the Back and Front designs below.

Next to help Carl get around the businesses and tout for work – he needed a printed brochure, this ended up being a 12 pages thick A5 square brochure. A lot of time was taken to source the correct images for the brochure, as well as ensuring that the text was layed out correctly and in order.

It was then time to design the website layout – this had to be sharp and crisp – but also stay within the corporate brand that we had created. Once the layout had been approved by Carl, we set about getting the website online.

The website was sent to search engines and added to Web Squared portfolio, and has been updated on a regular basis since it went live in July 2006.

Lastly but not least business cards, letterhead and compliment slips were designed and then sent off for printing.

The Follow up:

Since the website was first made live – there have been many iterations and updates to the website, as well as the work done:

  • Van graphics
  • Banner artwork
  • Lots of flyers
  • Gallery of imagery (for bootcamps)

and the website now looks like this:

What the customer said:

Sarah has been of fantastic help with building our whole corporate image from the bottom up! Starting from the very beginning, her patience and attention to detail has been tremendous. Take something as simple but as important as the logo, it took numerous attempts and a lot of time to get absolutely right, but I don’t think anyone one else would have put in so much work.

The one thing you’ll notice above all else is Sarah’s personal approach, she really cares about getting the best possible look and will go above and beyond the call of duty to get it.

I cant praise Sarah’s work highly enough, suffice to say that every client and potential client that has seen our site has commented on how professional and impressive it is, enough said I think….

If you want a run of the mill site with average service and content then DON’T call Web Squared. However if you want to showcase your company in the best possible light on a site that has real WOW factor, and get great personal service to boot, then you know where to go.
