Your new look and brand is key! Whilst I’m not a marketing company I can supply you with smart and fun logo designs that you can choose from. My aim is that you only get the perfect logo – the one you want! We keep going until we get there.
There are two ways of creating a logo – 1. I design it in-house and give you 2 or 3 examples and then rework them based upon your comments, and 2. I have the ability to hold a contest that has many designers from all over the country try their hand at your design. The second option has a few issues though – you MUST supply feedback quickly and concisely – the more you give the better you get. The contest is held online – which means you can watch it unfold – but so can everyone else. Like anything once its online its in the public domain and you cannot get it back.
Option 2 is therefore for people that don’t mind not having the confidential part.
How does it work?
Designing a logo is not a simple process but I do it by getting to know you and your business, as your logo should talk to you about you. Some of the questions I ask and you need to ask yourself are:
- What is your favourite colour?
- What colours do you dislike?
- What style are you looking for chic, stylish, contemporay, traditional, warm …
- What other logos do you like (this is to give us a better example to the question above)
- Do you want an icon with your logo? or just text? Think Vodafone text and speech icon
- Do you have a strapline or tagline for your logo?
- Where will you use your logo – stationery/online/posters/signage/van signs etc?
These answers gives me a better understanding of what you need, from that I create samples, you comment on the samples – being as constructive or critical as you like – seriously I mean that last bit! Our My shoulders are broad and I want to ensure you get what you want – therefore be bold be strong and tell me what you really think!
Gut reactions are best – honestly!
I then make the changes according to your comments and around the loop goes until you say STOP that’s perfect!
